PRIVACY
Last updated June 29, 2026
WARMODE was built to stay out of your business. Almost everything you do in the app lives on your phone and never leaves it. This page explains exactly what we keep, what we send, and who we send it to.
THE SHORT VERSION
- No account. No email, no password, no sign-in.
- Your name, your enemy, your streaks, your challenges, and your saved quotes are stored on your device only.
- No analytics, no crash trackers, no ad networks, no third-party tracking of any kind.
- The only data that leaves your phone goes to Apple (to take payment) and RevenueCat (to remember that you subscribed).
- Delete the app or reset it in Settings and the local data is gone.
Who runs WARMODE
WARMODE is an iOS app published by the maker of warmode.korsund.com. If you have a question about your privacy, write to unclegrape1975@gmail.com.
What the app stores, and where
When you go through onboarding and use the app, you create things like your first name, the "war" you picked, the name you gave your enemy, your daily challenges, your streak history, your rank and XP, and any quotes you save or write. All of that is written to a private file inside the app's own storage on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere. There is no WARMODE server, no database in the cloud, and no sync between devices.
A small slice of this data (your current quote, rank, and streak) is also written to a private app group container so the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets can show it. That stays on your device too.
What leaves your device, and why
There are two cases, both tied to your subscription.
- Apple. When you start a free trial or subscribe, Apple processes the payment through the App Store. We never see or store your card details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
- RevenueCat. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. To do that, the app sends RevenueCat an anonymous device identifier and your subscription status. The identifier is a one-way hashed value derived from Apple's vendor ID for your device. It is not your name, your email, or your phone number, and we do not use it to build a profile of you. You can read how RevenueCat handles data in their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
That is the entire list. Nothing else is transmitted off your phone.
What we do not do
WARMODE contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting, no advertising, no ad identifiers, and no attribution or marketing trackers. The app never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission because there is nothing to track. We do not use HealthKit and we do not request your location.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, WARMODE schedules a daily callout on your device using Apple's local notifications. These are generated and delivered entirely on your phone. We do not run a push server, and we cannot send you anything you did not schedule yourself. You can turn reminders off any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
Photos
When you choose to save a quote card or your archetype card, the app asks for permission to add that image to your photo library. It only writes the image you exported. It does not read, scan, or upload your existing photos.
The website
warmode.korsund.com is a static marketing site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track visitors. The fonts are served from the site itself rather than a third party.
Your choices and your control
- Reset your data inside the app to wipe your local profile, streaks, challenges, and saved quotes. This is permanent.
- Delete the app to remove everything stored on the device.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
- Turn notifications and photo access on or off in iOS Settings.
Because we hold no account and store nothing about you on a server, there is no remote profile for us to look up, export, or delete on your behalf. To remove the device identifier held by RevenueCat for your purchase, contact us at unclegrape1975@gmail.com and we will pass the request along.
Children
WARMODE is meant for adults working on their own discipline and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, note that any data created stays on that device and can be cleared by deleting the app.
Where your data is handled
Apple and RevenueCat are based in the United States and may process the limited subscription data described above there. If you subscribe from outside the United States, you agree to that processing.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and move the date at the top. Continuing to use WARMODE after a change means you accept the updated policy.
